A control fee is issued by private property owners or parking companies on private land, while a parking ticket (fine) is issued by the municipality on public land. The control fee is regulated by the Swedish Act on Control Fees for Unauthorized Parking (1984:318) and can be disputed directly with the issuing party, in this case via Eleware AB.
Disputes are handled by our AI case handler, which works around the clock, every day, including weekends and holidays. Responses are normally sent within 5 minutes of the case being received. If the case requires manual review, processing may take longer, and you will always be notified in that case.
AINPR (AI Number Plate Recognition) is Eleware's proprietary system for automatic license plate recognition. A camera at the parking facility photographs the vehicle's license plate. Our AI model, trained on Swedish plates and Nordic light conditions, analyzes the image and returns verified vehicle data via REST API in under 50 milliseconds. The system works around the clock in all weather conditions.

We only process the personal data necessary for each respective service, store it on Swedish servers, and delete it once its purpose has been fulfilled.
